Strong Performances Open October with CAC Volleyball Weekly Awards

Simpson University (California) junior Mariah Napoleon, Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) junior Jaspen Ellenwood, and Westcliff University (California) graduate student Daniela Sandoval have garnered the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Players of the Week.

Napoleon, the Attacker of the Week, posted 30 kills and a .361 hitting percentage across two victories against Westcliff last weekend. The outside hitter had 16 kills in a 3-1 win in last Saturday's finale.

Ellenwood, the Setter of the Week, continues to guide HINU's offense by averaging 4.43 assists per set and 2.71 digs per set across two matches. She had 21 assists and 13 digs against Sterling College (Kansas) last Saturday.

Sandoval, the Defender of the Week, recorded 35 digs and averaged five digs per set, highlighted with 25 digs against Simpson last Saturday.
