Florida National Athletes Collect CAC Women’s Outdoor Track Weekly Accolades

Florida National University sophomore Keelee Okoro and freshman Lamaria Williams have collected the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field Player of the Week awards.

Okoro, the athlete recipient, helped the Conquistadors post a season-best performance in the 4-x-400-meter relay (4:32.85) at last Saturday's Historically Black Colleges and Universities Relays Experience. She also posted her fastest time of the season in the 400-meter race at 1:04.43.

Williams, the field honoree, placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.42 meters.
