Freshmen Collect CAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Awards

Two freshmen from Florida National University have collected the final Continental Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athletes of the Week honors for the 2025 season.

Lismar Bentancourt, the Track Athlete of the Week, set two personal-best records in a breakout performance of the 2025 season. The Valencia, Venezuela, native posted a time of 2:37.03 in the 800-meter race and 5:15.69 in the 1,500-meter race at the Keiser University Twilight Meet.

Meanwhile, Keelee Okoro, the Field Athlete of the Week, placed fifth in the high jump at the meet. The Coral Springs, Florida, native also recorded a 12th place in the 200-meter dash and was 11th in the 800-meter race.
