CAC Announces Women’s Soccer Final October Weekly Honors

Bellevue University (Nebraska) sophomore Baylee Tex and Florida National University freshman Angelina Carreno have received the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards at the conclusion of the October portion of the 2025 season.

Tex, the offensive honoree, scored twice and added an assist in the Bruins' regular-season finale, a 7-0 victory against Dakota Wesleyan University (South Dakota). The scoring output helped the Papillion, Nebraska, native increase her season total to nine goals and 19 points.

Carreno, the defensive recipient, scored her first collegiate goal against NCAA Division II Edward Waters University (Florida) last Monday. The Port St. Lucie, Florida, native plays a significant role in the Conquistadors' game plan for each match.
