Great Plains Duo Collect CAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Awards
Hesston College (Kansas) freshman Brooklyn Bailey and Dakota State University (South Dakota) freshman Onika Kline have earned the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards.
Bailey, the offensive recipient, scored twice in the Larks' 9-0 victory against Arlington Baptist University (Texas) last Monday. The Newton, Kansas, native put all five of her shots on goal in the match. The two goals were her first of the 2025 season.
Kline, the defensive honoree, played all 90 minutes as a center back and limited the Waldorf University (Iowa) attack as Dakota State picked up its first victory in program history with a 4-1 win last Wednesday. The Blandon, Pennsylvania, native attempted two shots for the Trojans. She also was instrumental in building the team's offensive attack from the back line and caused multiple problems for the opposition by exploiting space by dribbling and distributing the ball.
