Haskell Indian Nation’s Fox, Carolina University’s Page Named CAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week

Strong all-around performances have earned Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) senior Ivy Fox and Carolina University (North Carolina) junior Dearia Page recognition as the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Players of the Week.

Fox, the offensive honoree, helped lead the Fightin' Indians to three home victories. She began the week by scoring 25 points, grabbing eight rebounds and making 57 percent of her field goals in a 97-85 victory against Clarke University (Iowa) last Monday. The forward added 21 points, including a perfect 7-for-7 performance at the free throw line, in a victory against Arkansas Baptist College last Friday. The White Shield, North Dakota, native came back with 19 points and six rebounds against Hesston College (Kansas) the next day.

Page, the defensive award recipient, delivered an elite two-way performance for the Bruins against Morris College (South Carolina) last Saturday. The guard grabbed 17 rebounds in the game, with 12 being collected on the defensive end of the court. The Charlotte native also scored 24 points in the 72-61 road victory.
