Arkansas Baptist Sweeps CAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Honors
Arkansas Baptist College juniors Emani Wofford and Jade Fry have earned the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week awards for their performances in helping the Buffaloes to a victory.
Wofford, the offensive honoree, had a triple-double performance with 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in a 75-55 win against Southern University at New Orleans (Louisiana) on Sunday. The Nashville, Tennessee, native nearly averaged a double-double with 12 points and 8.5 assists across two games. The guard made 40 percent of his field goals for the week.
Fry, the defensive recipient, averaged 10.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per outing across the two games. The Denison, Texas, native had a double-double performance with 17 points and 10 rebounds against SUNO. The forward also had four blocked shots in that game.
