Florida National Garners CAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

Florida National University junior Hugo-Augustin Kluczkowski and sophomore Wenceslao Ferrin Arias have been named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week.

Kluczkowski, the athlete honoree, posted a personal best 4:10.03 to place 10th in the 1,500-meter race at last Saturday's Nova Southeastern University Shark Invite. The Dusseldorf, Germany, native competed in the event that was full of NCAA Division II runners.

Ferrin Arias, the field recipient, placed ninth in the long jump with a personal best 5.51 leap at the Nova Southeastern University Shark Invite. The Cali, Columbia, native was competing against Division II athletes.
