CAC Releases Season’s Final Men’s Soccer Player of the Week Awards

Florida National University sophomore Filipe Ribeiro and Hesston College (Kansas) freshman Harry Morris have collected the final Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards for the 2025 season.

Ribeiro, the offensive recipient, capped off his masterful regular season with four goals and an assist in the Conquistadors' 12-0 victory against South Florida Bible College last Thursday. The Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, native leads the team with 14 goals and is third with five assists this season.

Morris, the defensive honoree, posted his seventh shutout to help the Larks conclude the regular season with 10 straight victories. The Ebbw Vale, Wales, native made five saves in the 3-0 triumph against Barclay College (Kansas) last Tuesday.

Florida National and Hesston will be playing each other in one of the two first-round matches in the 2025 CAC Soccer Championship tournament on Friday, November 7, at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The six-team tournament will crown a champion on Tuesday, November 11, with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament.
