Bellevue Players Sweep CAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week Honors

Junior Adam Sherwood and freshman Kaden Simpson have earned Continental Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors for their contributions as Bellevue University (Nebraska) posted a road victory last Wednesday.

Sherwood, the offensive honoree, scored the match-winning goal – his team-leading ninth of the season – in the Bruins' 1-0 triumph at Columbia College (Missouri). It was the fourth match-winning tally of the season for the Lowestoft, England, native.

Simpson, the defensive award winner, made four saves and posted his eighth shutout of the season. The Omaha, Nebraska, native has gone more than 200 minutes without conceding a goal. He helped Bellevue defeat Columbia for the first time since the 2020 season.
