Georgia Gwinnett College’s Pedro Alejandro Earns 2025-26 Male A.O. Duer Scholarship

Georgia Gwinnett College junior soccer student-athlete Pedro Alejandro has been named the male recipient of the 2025-26 Continental Athletic Conference A.O. Duer Scholarship.

The honor recognizes a male junior student-athlete in any sport who has excelled in scholarship, character and citizenship. Eligible student-athletes must have a 3.75 or higher cumulative grade point average.

Alejandro was named to the 2025 CAC Men's Soccer Champion of Character team for his integrity, respect for others, sportsmanship, servant leadership, and commitment to the values that define the NAIA.

Alejandro also earned 2025 Academic All-District honors by the College Sports Communicators organization and GGC's Athletic Director Honor Roll.

On the pitch, the San Juan, Puerto Rico, native gained second all-conference team honors and helped lead the Grizzlies to their first league championship since 2019. Alejandro's leadership assisted in GGC advancing to the quarterfinal round of the 2025 NAIA national tournament, matching the deepest postseason run in program history.

The defender started 18 of the team's 20 matches and provided three assists during the fall season.
