Carolina’s Britney Comolli Named 2025-26 A.O. Duer Scholarship Female Recipient
Carolina University (North Carolina) senior volleyball student-athlete Britney Comolli is the female recipient of the 2025-26 Continental Athletic Conference A.O. Duer Scholarship.
The honor recognizes a female junior student-athlete in any sport who has excelled in scholarship, character, and citizenship, along with athletic performance. Eligible student-athletes must have a 3.75 or higher cumulative grade point average.
As a team captain during the Bruins' successful 2025 season, Comolli led through accountability and resilience, while also having a team-first mindset. On campus, she received the Carolina's Student Employment Award and the athletic department's Bruin Award for character along with the outstanding strength and conditioning award.
The Hereford, Arizona, native also was a member of the campus and CAC committees of the Association of Student-Athletes.
Comolli's play on the volleyball court helped the Bruins post a 21-16 record and qualify for the CAC Championship tournament for the second consecutive season. She recorded 264 kills and had a .136 hitting percentage across 35 matches.
